Cool Got the summer gear?

Show me your fly armor!!
Mine (except the minis) have fly masks with long noses and ears, fly sheets with necks and belly straps (Except the old horse) and they get fly spray. I have BAD black fly problems. Anyone know how to kill them, besids squishing them?

Anyway, what do you use?

Marshalltown, Iowa, it is against the law for a horse to eat a fire hydrant.

Those fly eater bugs are supposed to work (at least in this area). They're like little insects they send you that eat the larvae. I forget the technical name of them.

I'm trying to get by on only BugCheck and roll-on this year. *crosses fingers* but will probably have to break out the fly mask. The curly coat seems to help with the flies on the body, and the super tight curls in the ears come in handy keeping bugs out, but his eyes seems to attract flies way more than the average horse.

I just got my first batch of fly parasites today. They do nothing to the blood sucking flys though
