got hooves trimmed yesterday

well i had my husband trim dodger's hooves yesterday morning. they needed it done. he hasn't been done for a while do to weather and working. my husband works for a farmer and it's calving season. they've had 8 so far and about 70 or so are still to be born. ok well dodger did really good for his front feet.

he stood really still. then when it came to his back right he danced around a little, then he calmed down. i was giving him grass. that made him really happy.

well his hooves look a lot better now.

He probly danced cause he couldn't see your husband as easily as he could on the front feet.....Glad you got him to calm down!

yeah, he felt better too when he got all done. he danced back to the pasture it was so cute.

Hi Marsha! You are fortunante to have your husband trim your horse. It's definitely nice to be able to save a little money here and there!

yeah it's great having him being able to trim my horse's hooves. i do it every once in a while but he does a better job on them then i do, and it does save money. we would have to pay big money to have some one come and do two horses cause we live way out in the country and there aren't many farriers around here.
