Arrow Good Western Saddle...Good Price?

I ride english and i don't own a western saddle....i've always borrowed one from my trainer. Now i'm moving barns tho and i don't believe i'll have the option to borrow a western saddle anymore. How do you make sure it's a good saddle, and what's a pretty good price for a new saddle, and a used saddle? And what should i be looking for in a saddle...and what does it mean when they say: tree, horn, bars, swell, cantle, rigging, skirt...?

I sell inexpensive ones if that is what you want. www.blisteringwinds.com

Make sure you find out the size of hte gullet of the other saddle that fit their horse and find out the seat size so you purchase something that fits you.

Also, look at the seat itself. Is it high back, low back, angled down or pretty flat or is it made to set you more forward....

These are things you need to know when looking for a saddle. How you feel in the saddle as well.

Hehe... I'm the exact opposite. Have all western getup for Regal and am borrowing a dressage saddle from our trainer.

Is western something you want to do long term, long term with that specific horse? I've been thinking about buying my own english saddle and I think I might go with a wintec because of the tree adjustability, ease of cleaning, and price. Would that be a good option for you?
