I got all my work done and called my riding partner to let her know I managed to get the afternoon off so we can go riding. It is a BEAUTIFUL fall day. Low sixties, crisp fall air, sunshine, no wind, colors turning everywhere. I was sooooo excited then my phone rang.

My Boss: Did you have plans this afternoon

Me: Well, I thought I might go riding.

My Boss: Sorry, but I forgot to tell you I signed you up for a radio advertising seminar at the Clarion Hotel.

Me: But you told me you want to stop advertising

My Boss: Yeah...I know....but I promised these guys you would be there but you don't have to, I don't want to infringe upon your plans.

Me: It's a good thing I love you

My Boss: If it sucks, then just leave.

Me: You know that I will.

My Boss: Try to spend at least 15 minutes there.

The weather is suppose to take a windy wet turn tomorrow. I think the seminar is going to blow big time....maybe I'll only miss 30 minutes of riding.
