Talking Good ride today! :D

I'm so happy, today Buddy and I went for a really good ride. Unfortunately, it had been raining all day, so boy was he ever MUDDY!!! But, after I cleaned him off and went into the indoor arena, everything went great!! I rode him english and we both were riding well. He was picking up his back feet well, had some energy to his trot, and stayed collected and on the bit without me having to remind him hardly at all! We only did some walking and trotting work, but nonetheless, he was so good! He was also very patient with me while I practiced just trotting in two point postion like I'm supposed to practice for my instructor. I'm still not great at balancing in that position, and it was like he read my mind when I needed him to slow down or when I wanted him to speed up. It just felt like we were in sync!!!!

He also seemed happier than usual. Usually, he is less willing to work and more lazy, but maybe since it was so muddy in his corral, he didn't mind working inside!!

I'm so proud of him, he's really coming along! (not bad for my first horse to train!!)

I love a good ride like that. Velvet is a good girl to ride most of the time. I love her!
