Goals for the end of the season?

As the title states, what are your goals for the end of the showing season?

My goal is to do well enough at my next event, which is my last planned event, to qualify for championships, and then compete (and hopefully place/win) in championships!

Well... my end of season goals successfully flew out the window with me moving as that used up all of the money I had set aside. I had planned to do two events this fall, but oh well, next year

So now I'm enjoying riding and working on our jumping skills with the plans to debut next spring at Training if all things go as planned.

lol...my goal is to get my horse healed up. I qualify for both of the state shows I was planning on going to, but now the vet is talking about re-suituring (SP??) my horse's cut and we haven't really been able to practice in forever so I don't see much point in hauling him to those shows. I'm happy though, we still may have gotten a year end award or two in a open show circuit. We've gotten a ton better this year and I can't wait to start riding again to improve even more for next year.

A pulled muscle followed by some hormone imbalances (the horse, not me!) ended our season, but we're back to work and starting the fitting up process big time. I've spoken with my jump instructor (not yet with the dressage instructor, but I don't forsee a problem) about doing Prelim next season. I had targeted August (one year from now), but my instructor immediately said May. I have some obligations early in the season that will prevent my showing much early, but I do plan on doing at least one Training ,then Prelim by the end of the season next year!

First.. I'm just hoping to go to more shows. lol So far the only show that I'm going to that's 100% for sure is in October. It's the last of this series I've been doing with a friend. My goal for that at least, is to do much better than last time. To get the left lead (and not totally butcher it and blow the class), and keep her quiet through my course. I still have a month to work on that left lead, so maybe we will get it this time! haha. It would be nice to get one of the high-point awards.. but I don't see that happening.

I would really like to win a highest point score, or a reserve would do. I don't think that will happen but I will be satisfied if I can enjoy all the shows and feel as though we did our best and are improving.
