Giving rep in that 24 hour period

I know there is a limit, cause I have exhausted it in the past. How many is it and/or does that increase as time goes on and your a member for a longer period like your point giving does?

I think you can only give out rep 5 times a day.

Peg, the rep allowed to be given is constant. It does not increase as member status does.
