Heres the counter clockwise (issue) lead lol . she picks it up and she dosent pick it up so i thought maybe some one would notice anything i havent ?

i let her canter on the wrong lead each time to show how she's moving / picking it up.

For Gits and shiggles haha this is why i dont tape my own footage ! she nearly took me with her haha. this is the first time she has EVER done that to me haha

She looks great and glad to see she's getting her lead. However, my only suggestion would be to get her to do a walk to canter transition. Because alot of horses tend to get strung out and lose their togetherness when they run into the canter. She may not have the muscles do that, or she may have them. But I would preferably try to get her from walk to canter instead of trot to canter.... I've found with my own guy that when I do a walk to canter rather than trot to canter he's much more balanced and collected...

I've been trying to get her to do it but i dont think the muscles are there it take's her 3 trot stride's to get her into it . I havent tried in the past 2 weeks because i didnt want to push it.

I understand, my guy hasn't been in consistent work so he doesn't want to do that... However, just keep her trying it.. I would bring her back down if she takes more than 4/5 strides at MOST to canter.. She may not be able to go STRAIGHT to canter, but she should be able to do it within a few strides... But she looks better!

Keep working on building up muscle, I can see that she is lacking muscle on her top line, so keep working, its going to take time. I think on your other thread many people made great suggestions on how to work with her on this.

while both video links you provided are the same, & there isn't a whole lotta trot in that video, I honestly think I see her hind left going *off* not lame off, just not comfy & right. A trot only video would help me out here, but I'm pretty sure I'm seeing a "stabbing" kinda motion at the end of when she goes to put that foot on the ground. That screams chiro to me. Been there, done that, dealt with, MILLIONS of times. Honestly, a good chiro to see her I think will REALLY help her tones.

One suggestion is to not let her keep cantering on the wrong lead like that - you're reinforcing that it was ok to do that.

Also, don't let her keep trotting once she breaks - she's unbalanced. Come back to a walk, regroup, and try again. If she's taking long enough to get from the trot to the canter, she's not paying enough attention to your request, so do something about it with the lunge whip.

I am of course assuming there are no physical issues, but based on the pictures you've posted of her, I think she has many.

I thought something funny was going on in the hind too, but I was thinking right hind. Though the motion of the camera really throws me off

Sorry about the camera shakeyness haha i was by myself

i let her keep cantering to show what she does... I dont re-inforce it at all but the purpose of the video was to show how she moves and to see if some one else can see what i am not seeing. There are some trot vids in the chat section of the girls just playing. It's raining now but if it clears up or tomorrow i'll get more .

chrio's comming when i have the money .

and wooppssieees i'll get the other video up now i didnt realize i did the same one lol so sorry about that !!
