    Kinda makes me feel bad for all of the horses still out there in the ash.

    I don´t think so.. the mountain gets bigger. The eruption would have to last a very long time to melt the ice that is on top of it and then the lava would have to find its way to the shore..

    Pregnant mares in danger and on the run.

    A breeder runs his herd of broodmares away from the ash after consulting with a vet.
    The ash is toxic and pregnant mares and youngsters are in grave danger if they get caught in the outfall.
