| Senior Member | Clorox Lestoil is the best I've found for removing oils & greases. I use if for car & work grease on my work clothes. It even does well on stains that have gone through the dryer. Stinks like kerosene, lol. That's why it works. It's a petroluem product and some concentrated surfactant, maybe Tergitol. It's a liquid in a bottle Says combustoble, so don't use near heat, flames, pilot lights, or other ignition sources. You may want to wash a 2nd time to get rid of the Lestoil before you dry. |

| Senior Member | hmm...the oil actually came out with just soaking in hot water for a while... 0.0 there's still a teeny tiny bit on there, but you can't see it unless you're like an inch away. and since it's the back of my jeans i doubt anyone will be :] thanks for the ideas, though! nice to know there are other choices next time i get oily jeans!
