getting a horse from N cali to central oregon, HELP

I am seriously looking into an OTTB, but without a trailer and truck, how am i supposed to get a horse from scramento to eugene, or?

do you know anybody or have a friend of a friend or just some random person that you board with, that has a trailer and truck that you could borrow? shipping is expensive, so if possible I'd try and borrow a truck and trailer. good luck
