Getting close
we're on foal watch .. my percheron mare is in foal to a black and white spotted draft we're thinking it'll happen in the next couple of weeks or so.

here is mama - took these pics this afternoon she's black - just really sunbleached

she;s also alot thicker than she looks - i guess i took them from good angles lol :-)

we'll probably just play with ir untill it's 3 and then start teaching it how to drive and possably do some under saddle work when it's 4 - 5

drafts grow really slow so i don't want to stress any joints or anything by starting it too young

thank you she's getting to where she looks tired all the time, she'll stand there lookin 1/2 asleep with her lower lip hanging down - it's reall cute, though i do feel bad for her carring all that extra weight lol - we have a vet coming out tomarow to make sure everything looks okay and he can give us an estimated due date :-)

she is huge - the stallim was 17hh or so so the baby will be HUGE i'm so excited - the vet is running alittle late but i'll let you know what he says
