Cool, thanks Lexy. My husband has a gestation calculator for each of our mares. He has figured thier individual average gestations from year to year to give us a real good idea when they are going to foal.

Over past years I have used a printed foaling calc. that came out of the Feb 1988 Paint Horse Journal. It's formula is based on last date bred and the mares age at time of foaling. I have found it holds true within 48 hrs (24/24). We even had one mare that must have read the chart cuz she would foal dead on the date of the chart everytime.
