broom polo is a lot of fun with a beach ball. There are always red light/green light with one person calling or follow the leader and that can become very creative with jumps or a trail course (just don't forget to keep a safe distance between horses). IF you can ride double, you can have pick up and drop off races (you can make them any speed you like.. and set up speed limits like no cantering). At camp the trainers had two different food games. One was riding the length of the ring, dismounting, eating 4 pieces of FROZEN bubble gum and having to blow a bubble before you could spit it out into a bucket, remount and return to the start. The variation was 5 crackers and having to whistle. Both very fun, but don't choke!! Have a blast!

Just a few....

Simon Says

Water ride (riders each hold a cup of water in one hand, whoever still has water left --or the most--- wins)

Apple Bobbing

Toilet paper pleasure pairs--team of riders hold a piece of TP between them and try not to break it

Dollar ride (usually done bareback) riders hold a dollar under their thigh, last one to have it wins)

I have lots more if you still need ideas, been to tons of fun shows where they do crazy stuff

Tub with apples goes at the far end of the arena--rider runs down, dismounts, and gets the apple, remounts and runs back down. You want to use a big tub tho--one year my daughter got her helmet stuck in there!!!

Bucket jump. You take 10 small buckets, flip them upside down. After everyone goes once you take away a bucket. Omce the horse refuses you're out. The person sho jumps the least amount of buckets wins. Like this:

You can also try a ribbion race. Go to the dollar store and get some streamers. Pair up with someone else, and both of you hold one end of the streamer. You walk, trot, canter, and the first team to break the streamer looses.

You can also have relays. Once at a 4-H event, we had to gallop down to the other end of the feild, dismount, put on a dress. And run all the way back. Then tag your team member's hand. Be creative!!

Just one little comment on the rideabuck (dollar ride) is that the winner gets all of the money. It is really fun.
