LOL, we don't have dollar bills up here, nor two dollar bills either. The smallest bill we have is the five dollar bill. Expensive game

LOL, around here we call that game sit'a'buck. We also have the water glass race, or mint julup (sp?). This is when you do the same things as devlish said with the dollar bill, except you have to carry a water glass full of water. The person with the most water left wins.

Games

Me and my cousins played a game called Ring drop a lot.
On one end of the arena, set up one barrel for each player and put the same number of rings on each barrel. At the other end,set up a pole for each person playing,in a line with the barrel. So it would look like this:

l l l-poles

O O O-barrels with rings

You start by the barrels, someone says GO and you have to lean down, grab one ring, and take it down to the far end,go around behind the pole, drop the ring down, then go back up and get another ring.if you drop the ring, you have to get down and get it again. The one who puts all their rings on their pole first,is the winner. Its really fun and competitive. You also have to stay on your part, you cant wander onto anyones lane.lol

*Tag* This is still a fun game with us.You play it like you would on foot, someone is it and then if YOU are touched, you are it.It doesnt count if your horse is touched, you can have a "base".You cant use anything but your hands to tag someone though. It is really fun,I think even our horses enjoy that game lol

*Flags* You set up 3 barrels,2 straight across from each other and one in the center,up a ways from the other two, like a barrel racing pattern. You put 2 buckets full of dirt, sand, whatever on top of the two across from each other.

O

O O barrels, put the buckets on these two first ones.

Put a stick in the first bucket, left or right, doesnt matter.the rider runs out past the stick, you have to grab it,then go the barrel in the center,go around it on the outside, then head straight for the other barrel with the bucket. When you run by you have to try to stick the stick in.the stick must stay in and while you are doing this, your horse can not stop its feet.If you stop, you are out. the local saddle club does this one all the time.it looks hard and fun.lol The best time wins.

*hangman*

This one is more dangerous, but still fun.It takes a good calm horse to do this game, and the horse should be able to be rode double!

You need a tall stout post or tree limb that you can tie a sturdy rope around. each rider has a partner who rides on the back and will climb the rope. You go out,to the rope, the partner climbs up,and the rider has to go around the ring one lap, stop at the rope, and the person jumps down onto the horse. This is also a speed event,so best time wins.

Last one.lol *barrel Pickup*

There is a barrel in the middle down at the far end.Your partner goes down there on foot, stands on top of the barrel and then you have to go down there, circle it once and the partner has to jump on,then you go back to the start. This is speed event too. That one is not too hard, but you better do it on soft ground lol HAVE FUN
