Talking Full Moon = Baby time??

I know this is an old wives tale, but I was wondering who has had mares foal on full moons??

Personally I've found that my mares have generally foaled closer to the dark of the moon.

Well! Looks like we have both sides, yes and no, hehe. But THREE foaled on marestare? Cool!

See, I've picked out the 17th of April as the possible date for my mare, just because its a full moon. Lol, I dont know her actual due date, so wanted SOMETHING to go off of!

Keep posting your fidings over the years guys!

Funny thing I was talking to my neighbor about that today. He has his first horse in foal and said that his cows tend to give birth on a full moon and he asked me if it is the same with horses...

I told him horses are the type that when you watch them they won't foal and when you turn your back there they go LoL.
