Oh if he is splash... then he is both. Sabino is definitely there with those sharp pointed stockings. Splash tends to put more white in the back than the front, which this guy shows. Splash also usually has to have pretty high leg white to show white in the tail... so IF that IS a splash tail, that makes sense with those back stocking.

Okay, speak slowly and clearly to me, lol. What you are more or less saying is that sabino is already there. ?? It is the splash that is amping up the white? (assuming it is splash.)

In other words, the presence of the white markings would be sabino. The placement of the white markins is what indicates splash. Am I wayyy off here?

And what if there is splash with no sabino? Is that what would me more of a minimal splash?

Can you explain what sabino means for white markings?

I am just trying to back up here a little. I am a tiny bit confused and don't want to get too far ahead of myself.

Sabino is there. Sabino is what is causing the jagged edges to the stockings. It could be either sabino or splash making the white that high, but if that tail is white it is most likely splash.

Kinda. It is the jaggedness of the stockings that indicates sabino. Splash is normally smooth around the top

Could be, but most likely the white markings would be smooth at the top instead of jagged.

Sabino can mean a lot for white. It is normally any sort of white (I personally beleive any whtie marking not from frame splash or tobiano is caused by some form of sabino) particularly on the legs and then almost always have jagged edges on the top of them.

I think what is confusing you is the higher in back than in front. This is not the markings on each leg, but on the front legs compared to the back legs. What me and acc mean when we say that its higher in back, is that the markings on the back legs comes up higher than the front legs. Not that the stocking on the back left (or wherever) is higher on the back of the leg and shorter on the front of that leg.
