Front Legs Worry Me A Little

Dior, yearling QH filly, dunskin.
I rather like her hind end, but her front pasterns and knees scare me...maybe she'll grow into them a little more? :/
Oh...she was reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally stretching herself out in a few of these. I tried to throw in one of her standing normal.

I don't have a plan yet. She's still a work in progress...

I agree the length of those pasterns really scare me...also her hind end is a bit too straight for my liking. If I was looking to buy, those pasterns alone would make her a 100% no go for me, but please keep in mind I'm overly picky!

Do you own her already? She really is a gorgeous color, and I love the zebra strips on her legs!

I dont know much bout confo, but I dont like her neck at all. Her legs looks a bit wonkey in the front, like other people have stated. I wouldnt buy her personally, I dont even know if I would consider her. Except for one thing, her color. She is built Extremely down hill in my eyes. I am not good at this though, its just from my opinion, and from reading tons and tons and tons, of confo info.

She looks almost Ewe Necked, what are they asking for her?

FWIW, it's not unusual for the pasterns to get a little scary looking in the yearling year. Those seem to grow first, so when they're as awkward looking as she is, it can be over-emphasized. I wouldn't really start sweating unless she was still looking the same at 2. Her age is also part of why she's so downhill and part of why the neck is fugly. This is just such a bad, awkward age.

She looks back at the knee, not over at the knee, IMO. If the pasterns don't get better, that's what'd worry me more. Although she really isn't stood up properly in any of these pictures so it's hard to say for sure.

Her pasterns are really upright. She looks over at the knee in the front as well, which adds to that 'wonky' look. Very pretty coloring, based on confo though, I wouldn't purchase this filly.

My horse looked like that when I firt got him, someone told me he had long pasterns as well, but he seems to have grown. Yearling stage is sooo weird, and they just look silly. My horses but is still higher then his withers, but it will always be, he is a STB.
