Friesian that is homozygous for the "red gene"

has anyone noticed that his hooves look weird or better put trimmed weird? is it just me or is it just the picture or or they really like that???

I forgot about the Friesian Sport Horse Registry. I just have visons of some god awful cremello mare getting bred to him and having an even more awful looking foal... then trying to sell it for thousands bc it is a "rare palomino friesian"

If he was imported then would he be registred with the FPS? Don't they pull papers on horses that have produced an outcross?

WARLANDERS - Makes me think of those magikal gypsy vanners

He still has his papers. They won't take them away because it's already been said he can't sire FPS foals.

His hooves aren't really weird... they're trimmed really weird. LOL!

I don't know much about the Warlanders other than that they exist and won't go into my dislike of the overpriced Gypsy Vanners in this country right now.

Eh some of those Warlanders are okay and some aren't. Guess that it is the same as it is with any other breed. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah there was a show stopping one named Wyn De Pluum at San Antonio LiveStock Show & Rodeo when I went to show last year. His full brother was for sale for like $7-$10,000 and already had quite a few winnings under his belt. Just didn't have the money hahahaha.
