When you go into a section such as "Introductions" you should see a button that says "New Thread" It is above all the threads, but below your "User CP"

I read the FAQs reguarding inserting a picture into my post. I guess I sitll don't understand it...but do I understand that I can only insert a picture that is in the gallery? I cannot insert one from my own picture files? Also...where is the icon that says "insert photo"? Sorry for being a dunce.

You can insert photos after they have been uploaded into the gallery. Otherwise you will need to upload them to a photo album site, ie Picture Trail, first (in order to obtain a URL address). The 'insert image' icon is found among the other post options while creating a post and/or thread. (at the top, where you will find the smiley face drop down choices along with font choices)

We no longer have the option to directly attach pics from your hard drive to the forum. Our photo gallery has replaced that option.
