awwww im so glad she is coming along well for you...those poor horses. they all look like they have some cute features and with some work turn out to be beautiful horses....good luck to you and the rest of those poor horses!!!

Ok so the vet came today, I badly wanted pics but hubby was called in early so it was just me here I did however get a few nice cantering pic's of Porche today! She was playing with her two mini mares, yep she thinks they are all hers..lol

Oh, vet checked completely sound and no health issues found..WOOHOOO, we did her teeth (which he said had clearly not been done in a VERY long time) and he said she will now gain even faster. how exciting is that!!

It bothers me that people would have more than they can take care of. I can take care of one, so I have ONE. and if the time came where I could no longer take good care of one, I would find somebody who could if I have to GIVE her away for free.... geez...

The turn out did not go so well though Porche decided to run right out and pick on the alpha mare of all horses Thankfully my alpha is not exactly a mean girl and prefers the chase more than the attack method! However they chased her for long enough she was just exhausted and with her still needing weight I decided to let her stay with "her" mini mares. They are all happier that way anyway. I did move one mini out so it is just Porche and Indy (29.75" pinto mare) but they are happy and all is well. They are right across the fence now from the big horses so they can meet and adjust there for a bit longer and once Porche and my gang can nicely communicate over the fence we will try again.

Silly horses anyway..lol

Ok, Today, after spending a week over the fence with my other horses, Porche has been succesfully turned out with the rest of the gang. They are getting along and she seems to be buddying up with my 4yr old paint gelding! WooHoo!

I put 4 different hay piles out there but the only time Keeta decides to move Porche away is if she gets to close to the minis pasture. Goofy jeleous girl anyway!

Yep Odie has a new girlfriend all right..he is one happy boy after a year of celibacy
