She has such a sweet face. I am almost as excited as you, to watch her fill out. She is going to be stunning.

Thank you everyone!

I know I was going to wait a month before posting new pics but I just had to share these with you. Porche is feeling so much better, she now nickers for breakfast, she shakes her head yes if you ask her if she wants it, she is trotting around and talking too! So here are a few from yesterday, Day 9.

Ok, I will try very hard to wait for the next set

She looks like she's doing well (and is happy!) in those pictures.

I'm so glad you're giving her a good home and putting a bit more fat on those bones.

(she does look a tad silly shaved like that, though!)

Ah, the joys of a lice infestation! She is looking good, and is going to be one handsome mare once she fills out.

It won't take long with the feed she is getting and once the grass comes in, even better.

Too bad I don't have the money to support another horse! I live in MI and I would take one in a heartbeat.

The mare you posted is beautiful, and she looks so happy now that shes with you!

Its is amaizing that people would do that to living thing!!!! It is also amaizing what a little love and a lot of groceries will do. I have so been there and done that and the satisfaction that you get from saveing a likfe is the best feeling that I could ask for. Everybody thought that I was way to far over my haed when I brought my guy home but with time he has turned out to be one of the most trusting horse in my barn and everybody just loves him!!!

I can believe that! Porche is my first rescue so to speak. Ive taken on horses that have been abused and not taken care of properly but nothing as bad as her. I can't believe how fast her spirit is returning! Every day she seems to be just a little better than the day before, its truly a wonderful feeling! Two more weeks and she gets to have hte entire pasture to herself as my two mini mare will be moving out back for the summer. The vet is coming out Tuesday (next week) for a check up and coggins too.
Do you have before and after pics of your horse?? Id love for you to post them if you do! Nothing like seeing the change that is for sure
