I don't understand how this works.

Are you saying that I could come on here and tell you I want a free breeding and then I just get it? There is no catch? lol

I mean I don't have a mare old enough to breed anyway......I'm just confused.

Not a "free breeding" really, as you still (IIRC) have to pay for the booking ($150). And it's more of a contest, if I read it right.

It does end up being a contest for quaity mares.. (not saying that "x" horse is not quality because it is unregistered) but they must possess quality traits for breeding. (I.E. great conformation, or movement, show record, extremely desirable traits such as bloodlines)- Anything like that.. If the horse is poorly made they might not make it into the contest.. It is simple- I want great quality foals on the ground (regardless of breed) and this is an opportunity for you guys to skip paying the $500-$1000 for stud fees on my stallions and still get exceptional foals.

Year before last year I had over 40 people enter for each of my tb stallions! They were all very excited about the opportunity and I ended up giving away 1 breeding per stud, and giving a half priced stud fee to another person. Of course- we will fluxuate that depending on how many entries! Regardless, the stallions have produced some excellent offspring, why not save some money and get an exceptional foal?!

Okay- with that all being said- Please send me your email address if you would like pictures of the palomino colt- I will send them Monday ASAP (going out of town tomorrow).

I had a wonderful video of Screen Trick, First Trick and OLF Segovia-- It got burned up in our fire. I will have to get a new one made up soon! I can get video clips put onto youtube.com for anyone interested in the sooner rather than later!! Let me know-- Jazzylea2@aol.com
