Free breeding lease

HW Sweet Little Lies(AHA #1A 320113, Sweepstakes Nominated)
(Maxxum (JA Magnificat) x HWF Irish Cream (Pine Trees Burbon Vanity))
This 15.2H, chestnut mare was foaled 05/10/95. She is a
Half-Arabian/Half-Saddlebred who has four years of pro-training in EP, CEP, Driving, and Halter with Bobby Churton of Windy View Farm. Her show record is extensive in all of her trained disciplines and includes Region 16 H/A Pleasure Driving AOTR Champion, N.J. H/A CP Stakes Champion, 2000 US Nat'ls in H/A Pleasure Driving AOTD (missing TT by one placing), along with multiple Class "A" Championships. Unfortunately, due to an injury, she will be leased as a broodmare only. HA, NSH, DHH, and performance breeders take note! With her pedigree, conformation, and performance record, what a phenomenal broodmare she would make! Her owner is adamant about a QUALITY home for Liza. FREE breeding lease available. Will sell for $3,000 offers.
Located in Cossayuna, NY.

Only available until May as the owner will then take her off of the market permanently. Would like to find her a GOOD situation either for lease or sale due to financial situations. Contact Amanda at hrnarabians@hotmail.com www.honeysucklerosenorth.com 413.445.7296

info

She injured her right front leg last June 2003, while in pasture turn-out. The Deep Digital Flexor Tendon was injured. The leg was treated with Deep Tissue Ultrasound for 6 weeks after the injury, with constant alternate icing, hosing, poultice wrapping, etc. After 10 months, another ultra-sound was done to the leg, to see where she was at. The leg has stayed, what I call, cold, and hard, but there still is a lump on the leg where the initial injury is. The ultra-sound that was done in March of 2004, stated that the leg is still enlarged, the mare is still lame, and the ultrasound showed some separations still, in the Deep Digital Flexor Tendon. The vet at this point seems to think she only has a 20-30% chance of ever returning to be a show horse, HOWEVER, she did state the mare may simply just need longer time to heal. Maybe in the future she would return to be able to work as a show horse, or maybe as a pleasure horse for fun. As of October 2004 the lump is now only pea size and she is considered “sound” by the owner. She is currently barefoot.

The owner is looking for a LONG TERM lease.

Insurance will be required. Transportation will be at the cost of the lessee. Referrences will be required.

Other than that, you would then have the ability to breed her to whom ever you liked with out having to buy her.
