Arrow For those of you who use roller bits...

I would like, if possible, to see videos of the horse before using the roller bit and then after. The reason is I'm considering using one on Ollie to help with acceptance of the bit, salivation, and an overal better movement and frame of mind on his part. I e-mailed my trainer, wont see him for a couple days because he's away at a show this weekend and I didn't want to forget so I'm waiting on his reply on wether or not he would suggest it and if he has one I can try out for a bit. Ollie is a tense moving horse, which is partially his personality of "get up and go!" and he has a lot of tension in his muscles, mainly shoulder, a spot in his back, and a deep spasim in his left hip. He also has a low right hip and a high left shoulder mainly from him swaying. Those things are going to be corrected through regular message therapy and in the summer he's going away for 6 days to a equine sport therapist to have a little spa week and get about 8 different treatments done that will do absolute wonders for his body and he'll come back from that moving incredible, grand prix dressage horses who have were having some issues with their muscles and such went in and came back performing even better than they did before.

So, any videos of before and after? I just want to see if there is any substatial difference, I'll try it no matter what I see but I figured it would be nice to see what comes from the change in bit.

Roller bits are meant to give fidgety horses something to do with their mouths (and of course will help with moisture and comfort). It sounds to me your particular horse might appreciate it. Sorry I don't have any videos, but I think just letting your horse try it and you can see for yourself. What one horse reacts to another might react differently anyways.
