well first off, they are all adorable. However, on the two that went grey, you can tell from their first born pictures that they were going to. You can see the grey "goggles" around their eyes. My Welsh Colt was born chestnut and is now a rose grey as he is changing. Before long he will look like his mom, snow white.

Wow! Cute horses, though I think I'd feel a little deflated when my flashy spots or patches started disappearing as my baby greyed out!

Yep, I agree. Did either of the first two have a gray parent? If not, then they didn't gray. *Then* that would be weird.

All your horses are gorgeous, none the less. I like greys, but if they were mine I would of rathered they stayed what they were born with - not that I could have any control over that, but you know what I mean.
I do think Chip is super 'CUTE' now.

Roman mom is grey percheron, and he is a very light grey... starten to dark a little. His sire is chestnut snowcap

Chip, in her newer pic that her mom (roan runs in moms family), and chip is out of a bay/white paint w/black point
