foal number one here

yup born friday morning 6am. tough delivery on mare but we helped her out and got that beautiful big guy out of her. He was up with in 20 min of being born but could not figure out the nursing process. we tried helping in every way after an hour or so. No dice, vet came out at 4 and tubed him and gave him a good dose of milk and after that he nursed. he won't stay near mom he just runs around and plays. poor mom is getting frustrated. so anyways here are some pics from when he was born.

1 down 2 to go.

anyone think of some names that would be great

if you want to see the stud follow the link 3rd one down

I love his markings! is he going to be a black and white? as for names, I would love to see a pic of him outside in the sunlight.....that one pic, with his ears lopped over, is so cute, and that (blaze) is very different! Congratulations on your new foal! Cathy

What a GOREGOUS foal you have there!

What about Indie (for independent) as that seems to be what he is already!

Oh, what a sweetheart! Congrats! And I love that sire. The owners of your sire have produced some very nice horses throughout the years. I have heard nothing but good things about them.

I'm not good with names but how about Deuce's Pheonix?

Can't wait to see your other foals!
