Foal Markings

So there was a foal born about a month ago. Chestnut. On chestnut babies before I could never tell if they were gonna end up having socks, stockings etc... And I would really like if she did end up having come sort of makrings on her. Is there any way of telling? Last year a colt was born and I coudn't tell if he was gonna have any makrings but he ended up having back
stockings.

What color are his hooves?

IF they're going to have white, it will be apparent when they're born. They can't get them late on.

Well I understand that. But when horses are first born there legs are always very light and when they get older they turn dark. If you can somewhat see in my picture her whole legs are very light

From the photo, I'd say no stockings. I'd have to see a really big version of that photo or close ups to see if the baby had any socks

lol Yeah I tried to make it bigger but it didn't work.. I enlarged the photo On my computer and I'm thinking there might be a little sock on the right back leg.

That could be possible, it is much lighter than the other leg. Little booger needs to hold still for photos

If there is pink skin under the hair then the leg will be white. Along with having a white hoof...

All of the hoofs are white which kind of confused me a little, But when I saw her the other day I checked and I believe only the hind right one have a sock.
