Yes that is true, her tail was red in this picture, it has darkened since then tho. and in the side profile picture if you look at the front knees there is definatly dark going on.

I have to agree with JB....that horse may be getting darker points, but it most definitely not a bay. I have seen quite a few chestnuts that have very dark points, and manes and tails, but they still can't turn bay. Not to say the darker points aren't absolutely stunning.

I still don't see black, have you seen a liver chesnut? Beautiful. When you stall and blanket them, turn outs at night.. WOW. They are very very dark. I can't see the filly turning bay. Maybe a darker chesnut but definately not bay.
