If the hooves are white then he has white markings on those legs. It just depends on how high the white will go Just a coronet band being white will make the hoof white...

You can always tell if the hooves are pink. Can you get better pics of her legs? It's hard to tell because the foals legs are so light when they're born...

If you think it's hard with chestnut foals, you should try with a Palomino! I had a heck of a time trying to figure out what my Palomino colt had as far as white went. What helped was to get him wet. It makes them a bit darker.

Yeah, I guess that would be even worse... but in my defense... he is REALLY light. Still is and he's 3. He's got a crooked stripe and 4 socks. Higher in back, smaller in front.

Sorry, my horse has a rear sock....and black hoof.

It is not "fail safe" on the hoof being black no sock....

So for that post being a horse can have a black hoof with a white sock, it is possible for her to have white hoofs with no markings?

Your horse's hoof is black because if you look closely it has the ermine spots right above the hoof. If the horse's leg is dark then the hoof is always dark.

He has 3 of them...right next to each other....

But still. he still has the sock...

I'm always amazed they don't "stripe" like appies would with ermine spots....
