Smile Flowers

As some of you may or may not have picked up on other posts, I am getting married next April.

I have a colour scheme, green, cream and antique purple (quite pale, almost pinky but not lilac!) Now we are starting to think about flowers.
Im due to go to a wholesaler in a few weeks to have a look, but they have so much choice, I dont want to go not having a clue what I want else I will probably be overwhelmed.

As there are so many flowers out there I dont know where to start, so I would be gratefull of any suggestions; your favorites, any I definately shouldnt use (fast wilters?) any ideas at all...

Thanks in advance

Thanks for your time, then you can thank me for mine, after that's said, forget it. Rodriguouz

I like hydrangeas, my mum did suggest them actually, she thought they would be a good "filler" rather than lots of expensive flowers. Thanks.

I used all silk flowers. The only thing live was the table decorations of ivy, the door and railing of magnolia leaves and the reception hall arrangement. It would have been silk too, but a lady offered to buy it for us then use it for her church the next day as decoration. I'll load some pics.

The reception arrangement. It was live:

The wedding arrangement. Sorry the pic is a bit blurry

And my bouquet. I'm 5'10 so I needed a "bigger" bouquet. A small on would look out of place on me.

White roses, lisianthus, seeded eucalyptus can be found in a pale purple color, and is a great form filler. I'm having trouble finding a picture.

lisianthus in pink, they also come in paler shades which is almost cream.

I'll try to think of more .
