Flax Seed

For those of you who feed flax seed about how much do you pay per pound or per bag? Also do you have a hard time finding it? I haven't been able to find any in the feed stores around where i live so when i look on the internet is it like $40 for 7lbs. I guess i will have to start calling the feed stores in the next town over.

Holy Cow!!! I pay about 2.95 for a 5 lb bag...well, that is with my discount. (I work at a feed store) they are normally 4.95 for 5 lbs.

I think that it is talking about people flax on the internet but that is all i get when i google it.

I know you can get it cheaper than this ...but OmegaHorseshine is ground stabilized flax seed (supposed to stay good for up to one year...and human grade/quality yadda yadda yadda) anyway its the most expensive I have seen and it is 50 lbs for $63.95 delivered 20 lbs for $30 something....I am sure you will be able to find it locally though...if not they are Omegafields.com so the price you saw sounds out of this world!

I will probalby be able to find it in the next town over it is alot larger that the one i live in. I was just looking on the net to get an idea on how much it would be and i pray that it isn't that much!
