First Trimming

Willie had his feet trimmed for the first time yesterday. He did really well! Actually he did great!!!! The farrier said he has perfect feet. My kids think I am nuts, I saved a piece from his trimming, just like people do from a kids first haircut. Am I nuts?

Then to top it off his first trim was free. Sorry just wanted to share!

Omg that is absolutely adorable. I am glad to hear that it went well. There is nothing like being praised by a farrier. As for keeping the piece of hoof, like I said, I think that is the cutest thing.

Thats great!!! There is nothing worse than a horse that goes nut when the farrier rocks up. Its cute you kept a bit of his trimmings. If you have a dog keep some for him or her next time.My blue heeler LOVES them.
