He is such a gorgeous stallion DL. You have no idea how jealous I am, and how badly I wish Isabel was exceptional so I could even consider breeding to him.

LOL - he loves to jump eh? No issues at all clearing the fences....except that darn fence 4 on our last & best ridden overall course. That was just a little cheap rail though, but it happens!

I'm very happy with how we did considering the nasty weather. I think my goal of getting around in one piece was realized. Next time we'll actually make a competition out of it! LOL

All our hard work has paid off, and i think the more we can progress, th better we'll get. He's an awesome horse to ride, but did not like the muck we had the canter through in some parts of the ring. The footing was pretty good, considering the ridiculous weather we had all week, and today included, but still, messy going.

Spyder sure did enjoy his brush down by my girls - the wild stallion being brushed by a 3 1/2 & an 8 1/2 yr old....LOL! He was actually a real gentleman all day from the minute he got off the trailer.

All in all, even the weather, I think we had a good day!

Congrats!!! Sounds like they both did really well. I didn't realise DL hadn't been show in that long, I just figured you got someone else to campain him for you, I also didn't realise he did jumpers (or whatever it was you did). The photos look really great.
