Talking First Ride on Blaze!

Today we got on Blaze for the first time ever. My mom has been driving him since last week, and he has had the saddle on before and everything. He was awesome! My little sister, who is absolutely terrified of horses, got on him on his first ever day under saddle!!!! He seriously walked around looking like an old lesson horse giving pony rides! First, my mom drove him, then Dave, her boyfriend got on, then my mom, then me, then my little sis. He was so good, I can't even believe it! I was really nervous, as the trainer that had him before said that she didn't have enough time to deal with him as he was so bratty. He is a completely different horse though! While Cami, my lil sis, was riding him, he hung his head down low, and his eyes were half closed, he didn't even seem to notice someone was on his back. I will post pics in a minute. How do you think he looks for his first ever ride?

I know, it was awesome! I still can't believe that Cami got on though, she has never been on any of our horses, and they are trained! She screamed while on her 16 year old 12hh pony, and she runs to the steps of the house when we turn the horses loose. I cannot believe how far she went today. I was scared to get on that little thing, and I have been riding for 4 years! She took 3 lessons and quit. She seriously got on a horse for the first time ever since her last lesson a year and a bit ago, and it was his first time under saddle! She was only walked around, but still! Maybe I will have a riding buddy after all...
