First pony foal on the ground at Lazy F

But, it's not ours and not Duke's. An acquaintance lost her lease last year and needed to find quick homes for her horses and ponies.

We agreed to let her board the pony mare here, knowing we would need to foal her out. She's a grade pony, bred to a black Arabian (registered, but I don't know who he is) Filly was a couple weeks early, but is doing great.

She was 4 hours old in these pictures.

Awww what a precious foal....lol...I was so hoping it was one of Duke's.... I LOVE him to pieces.

I think mom is about 11.2-12hh, not sure how tall daddy is.

Here is the filly with mom, so you can see how big (little) they both are.

aww thanks 3wishes! I wish it was Duke's as well. Alas, my QH mare was due March 28th with his first baby of the year and is still hanging onto it. She's absolutely miserable, I told her she better be baking on the white and that's why it's taken so long. She's a maiden mare, and very very cranky right about now!
