First pony baby of 07 is here!

It's a Section A Welsh Colt - Chestnut (concensus so far is he will not go gray). I fed last night, and then went to put the two away that I bring out of the pasture for feeding and decided to check on the mares before turning out the barn lights.

Cindy stuck her head out of her stall door and she was sweating like it was 100 degrees, went in her stall and she was in full labor. I walked out, she laid down, and her water broke, my husband and I got to watch the entire birth! Very cool!

He has white to spare, as do all of Duke's babies. He's a has a full sibling that is turning 2 and has been retained by a breeder for a herd stallion.

Anyway, here's Rocky, born at 7:56 PM last night! He needs a registered name Sire is Toplines Liddle Duke of Hazard and mom is Lianna BMK Cindy (her name is hard to work in there, so kind of sticking with Dad's name)

Beautiful pair, thanks for the pictures. I didn't get to see mine when she was born, birth is an amazing thing.

Thanks y'all, oh and I forgot to say, I can't use Toplines or Liddle in the name, as they are registered prefixes with WPCSA.

I am probably going to incorporate Lidl or Lil into some of the names
