First open show circuit of the season our family won 12 ribbons

Sunday was our first show of the season and our family did pretty good. Of course we could always do better but I am happy with our first show results. Sorry no pics, both my husband and I were showing, so nobody was their to take pics. I take that back, I could have asked my 5 year old daughter she would have been happy to but ummm.... she is pretty famous for cutting of heads and just taking pics her level LOL!

It goes like this:

Kids Cardinal Clu (a.k.a. Cletus)
Grand: Jr. Stallions
First: Jr. Stallions
Third: Yearling halter
did not place in trail or loung line (he was a complete stinker)

Dun It In Montana
2nd: Jr. Stallions
2nd: yearling Lounge line
2nd: yearling trail
did not place in yearling halter

Dun a Lil Whiskey
2nd: Jr. Mares
did not place in green horse WP (was in wrong lead), or green horse trail (my husband droped the rope gate)

My 9 year old son:
1st: costume contest (see costume contest thread for pic)
3rd: Pony halter with his AMHR

My 5 year old daughter:
1st: Lead Line Equitation
fourth: Walk/trot equitation
Fourth: Costume contest (see pics in costume contest thread)
She did not place in pee wee barrels (time 60 seconds) or pee wee poles (time 71 seconds) But she had the best time ever.

Great Job! You should be thrilled- I'd be tacking those ribbons up all over the house.

Thanks everybody, Yeah we have ribbons everywhere, I don't know who like them more me or the kids

I love open shows, they are nice family fun
