FIRST EVENt.. of the season RESULTS

Sat. was our first event of the season....to me it was an over all successful day.

Let me start of by saying that our dressage test was AMAZING!!!! she was very relaxed and moving very forward!! we got a 30.5... My last event my horse wouldn't go near the judge and our score was a 58. BIG IMPROVEMENT

we were in 1st place after dressage

Stadium was vey nice we knocked a rail on the last jump.. o well it happens right.? I was very pleased and proud of the pony

X country I was very pumped before.. I asked a friend how it rode and she told me the jump before the water was very slick and it was probably a good idea to trot it ... so every thing was fine until that jump and me being DUMB broke our pace and trotted the jump (keep in mind I DO HAVE STUDS) Well i didnt have enough impulsion and she stopped.. i was so mad at my self that i went around jumped the jump and well i guess i didnt have my seat because I fell off after the jump... i was upset but I hopped back on and finished the course without problems.....

I know I fell off but Im sort of happy it happened because it opened my eyes and showed me that even when something bad happens I can still have the confidence to finish my course. This was actually a big confidence booster!

And at least I know it was totally 100% my fault for the refusal... and next time i will remember that my horse has studs and i DO NOT need to trot jumps ...

next event is in a month!!

Aww what a shame about the XC Oh well You did great for finishing!

Your dressage score was great congrads!

whats funny is that I was the last rider of the day

well the last time I was the last rider at an event.. guess who fell off haha
(different horse though)

Oh well, it is all a learning experience

You have the right attitude.

Next time,just don't go last.

unfortunately i dont have any pics because ... our camera got wet with diet coke right before X country.... and now i cant even finalize the disk in it because the camera wont turn on lol
