yes its that time of year to ...

...spend more products on your horses hair than your own

... take more effort of shaving your horses legs than your own (knowing full well that more people are going to be looking at his than yours LOL)

...remember what it was like when you could run a comb through your horses tail with out it getting stuck

... be thankful for a change that your horse smelt better than you did (humm, not sure that is a good thing)

...Wish that you had gone on a diet as you forgot that even black showpants won't make you look like anything out of the hobby horse catalogue

Here are some pics of Bailey at the first show of the season (AQHA - Garden of England show) the classes were .. rather low on entries (quite a few people didn't get to come as its foaling season so some of the bigger names didn't come), but over a 3 day show the ground was buzzing. the atmosphere was fantastic and we all had a really good time.

Bailey .. oh yeah, I had better mention him he was a good boy . the weather was really windy but he kept focused on me for most of the show.

here are some pics of us. he was not really set up in the photos and did have his legs a bit under him, that is only something I can tell when I look at the pics though. I love the one before the class .. it looked like I was giving him a pep talk - he even had his tail between his legs

ahh thanks guys, you are very kind - yes MB thats all his .. I don't know why its so 'big' but he never seems to rub it and its really strong hair. I had to cut it while I was preping him for the ring as it was draging on the ground LOL!! so those pics are the 'cut' version.

... I dont really do anything special with it .. its in a bag over summer, but as soon as the last show is done with I chop a lot off the bottom and he becomes a field pony again.

I thought it was a fake tail, too! WOW.....Gizmo's grows fast too, but isnt thick cause his neighbor bit it out....lol

ok ok .. for those that no longer love me ... maybe this will make you see that ... a long white tail in winter is as useful as a chocolate teapot
