Of course it starts from the inside out. Misty has a good diet. She also gets a kelp suppliment, sunflower seeds and some corn oil to make her coat shine

OK but I also have a huge box full of stuff.

I use:

eye and muzzle highliter
muscle highlighter
mane n' tail shine on
hoof polish and sometimes sparkly hoof polish
twinkle goold dust spray (looks good in chestnuts)
mane n' tail detangler
mane n' tail conditioner
cowboy magic conditioner
Canter coat shine wipes
Canter eye and muzzle cleaner

I want to get twinkle white chrome too

OK I probally have more but eh?

My trainer (she supplys it) said something about it helping their coat. I dunno if it works though. All I know about it is that it is crumbled seaweed and it is apparently really good for horses. (I know I should know more about my horses suppliments )

I really don't do much. All i have to do is take a body brush and go over him with it. He doesn't usually get dirty and has a healthy coat so he is naturally very shiny

Even though the orginial post that started this thread just asked:
Quote:
What products do you use to give your
horse that glistening coat for the show ring?
Here is some additional info for those who seem to need it

Ultra has products for preparing for the show such as specialized shampoos, conditioners and hot oil treatments. Then it has a wide variety of show day products such as coat sprays & polishes, face and hoof highlighters...what ever your need and breed allows.... they have it.
Since most of the major breeds in this country are presented groomed differently, and according to their rules, it is hard to be more specific where Ultra Products are concerned.
Most horse show exhibitors who are seriously interested in checking out this particular product line already know what it takes to present their horse/s at their best, and according to their choses breed's rule book, so they are perfectly capable of deciding which product of the Ultra line best suits their needs and do not need me telling them what they need to be using.....
In fact even the novice can read what each product is for and decide for themselves if this is something that they would like to use on their horse.

The Ultra Line of Show grooming products can be found using the following addy...on pages 3-4-& 5 of the search results: http://www.sstack.com/shopping/searc...&attribute16=0

She's a palomino overo.
So she's half white! Her
face is always SO DIRTY.
I wash it and ten minutes later
it's dirty again.
Yes lets all celebrate the palomino paints that can't keep clean for more thab 10 minutes. I clean mine wrap it up like a mummy w/blankets, polo wraps, ect and he still manages to get dirty
As for shine products I just started using Omega horseshine on my 2yo about 2 weeks ago and can already see a difference
