But her last year's bay colt is supposedly by a chestnut stallion. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/spotted+by+magic
Though in previous threads we have discussed how he seems to be bay...
Color sleuths....help me with this one.
Ok...last year's baby was by a BAY...definate bay (thrown bay on chestnut mares). But in his pedigree both parents are listed as chestnut...something wrong there.

I am not buying that he is simply bay...call me crazy if you must...something else going on

I have a pic of her filly from today...hang on and I will get it loaded.

We never did see pics of his dam did we? Dam's dam is listed as bay though she is by a red roan and a sorrel, but I bet her sire (Fair Charles) was misregistered, unless you know otherwise

I know that was totally OT but I had to

I totally get that with the yearling...ok...I will leave it at that for the time being (until I pull hair and get him tested). However, mom is totally non-characteristic and so is her new filly....my guess is neither carries LP at all...so there is no LPO affecting anything on them.

We talking about how the dam or sire of Maid Magic is misregistered. Its most likely LP playing tricks.
