FINALLY found a stud!!

I've finally, finally, FINALLY found a stud for my mare!

His name is Peace Baby, aka Elmo, and he's a registered TB, black, 16.1 hh, and absolutely GORGEOUS conformation. Only pictures I have are admittedly pretty bad, but oh well. He's off the track (where apparantly he did very well), and was retrained as an eventer (I think....Right now not positive as to whether as eventer or as hunter...Pretty sure eventer though). Basically, he's done it all! And his babies are amazing, too, they've done really well both on the track and as eventers, hunter/jumpers, etc.

He'll be a great match for my Chewy girl, I'm really looking forward to the foal!! We plan on breeding her in about May. I'll post pictures later, once I find them. Adios for now.

My mare's a 1/2 TB, 1/2 I have no clue what (but some heavier type of warmblood) bay. She's about 16 hh... Think she'll be a good match for him. I really want a black foal... Filly, preferably. But I'm fine with whatever. The main thing is getting a foal.

Cool! What do you want to use the baby for?

You will most likely get a bay or black/brown from the cross, weither it's a filly or not i'm sure it will be lovely. Could you please get some photos of both the mare ans stud? and what are your future plans for the foal?

I'm planning to use the baby for eventing, that's my big dream.

Here are some pictures of Elmo, I finally located them (they were right in front of my nose all along!), and some of Chewy.

Sorry, the pictures really aren't the greatest quality, but they're all I have.

Elmo... (or Peace Baby)

Chewy.... (I know there's a lot, I don't have a good picture of her that shows her conformation as a whole so these are substitutes)

.
I think you should find out all the information you possibly can before breeding. Is this stallion at your stable per chance?

No he isn't... And I know the information, I have it on my desk somewhere, I just have to dig it up. Could take a while, so I'm not bothering for the time being. I looked at it earlier and I was very pleased with it, so I'm not worrying. And his conformation is excellent.
