Favorite kind of Halter?

My horse only ever has a halter on when I trailer him some where. I have a hot pink rope halter I havent used on him yet but I usually use a nylon one. I don't have enough money for leather one.

I have a leather halter for shows with a nameplate that I LOVE, but I also really like her green nylon halter for around the barn

I use a regular nylon one. Easy to clean, hard to break. I don't feel comfortable enough using a rope halter because I feel like it would be easy to hurt a horse with one if you mishandled it or tied with it or something. Plus I've seen some older ones just plain rot and break.

I would love leather but that's not practical for me...my horse will get a personalized one when he shows, though, because he would just look too pretty in it.

I fight back tears from the big losses and save them for the even bigger wins. I can grit my teeth through the pain and still feel like I'm floating on a cloud. I'm a special breed. Say what you will but don't hate me for who I am.
