False/fake Tail

I am thinking about getting a false/fake tail for Charlie. His has virtually zero tail.
Does the horse need a minimum amount of natural tail to be able to use a false tail?
What else do i need to know about using one of these?

Here are some photos of his "tail" lol poor boy!

Thanks

haha, you spray it on to their tail and/or mane and leave it in. It works wonders, not entirely sure how though.

If you do a search on HGS, there are a million post about MTG.

Sorry, I have no advise regarding fake tails. I've never used one.

He has plenty of tail to tie a fakie in

you only need a very small amount of hair just at the base of the dock.

He has plenty of hair to use a fake tail..and they aren't all that expensive. Sergeants has them for around $100-200 for the tie in type and $160-$300 for the "natural loop" style.

Price varies by color with lighter colors costing more.
