Face "Polish"

I was just curious what evreyone uses on the dark area's on their horses face to get it shiny for showing. I've heard some people say they use vasaline, or baby oil. I'd like to try something at my next show (Saturday) but I want to make sure thta whatever I use is safe, and won't cause her to burn if it is a really hot day out. What are your recommendations?

Don't use baby oil or vaseline in the hot sun - can just hear your horses face sizzle..

I use face Hi-lites by Ultra. I've also used baby oil, and I sometimes use baby oil to blend. I wouldn't use Vaseline personally; a little too sticky and gloopy

I've tried them all. They all get goopy by the end of halter and showmanship. I just wipe it off before the riding classes begin. Baby oil gel is just as good as anything.

For later on I am planning on buying an actual product meant for horses, but I was just curious if I could come up with something before this weekend (but it is going to be hot so dont want to cause burning, that'd be awful).
