Extremely SOFT Brushes

My Thoroughbred has an intense dislike for all brushes unless they are very, very soft. So, since the only brush I can use on him is one of those "peanut" sized brushes, I'm wondering if anyone can lead me to a brush or brushes, type or brand name, that are bigger than the "peanut" shape but just as soft!

Do you have a tack shop anywhere within driving distance you can go to? I'd go and feel all the brushes and pick a few of the softest you can find, take them home and try them out.

Goat hair brushes are usually the softest, but they tend to be a bit more expensive.

Here's a goat hair face brush, like the one PonyLover95 suggested, just smaller

I have this one, and the one Ponylover95 suggested, and they are really great, and very soft.

"....i knew that I would get answers by posting for help here, thanks guys!"

I actually did go to a tack shop to "try" various brushes but it seemed that each one was just too hard! I actually never even thought about "goat hair" but I am def. going to buy them in different sizes!

As an aside, I just love Legacy Tack (I like SmartPak too but they have a store right near my home town so it's easy to stop in rather than place a catalog order). Anyway, I have been able to grab some incredible bargains from Legacy over the past several years, they have great prices and a good selection too; soooooo, off I go to place my online order and again, thanks to all of you!

My OTTB mare is extremely sensitive about her brushes as well, but she has fallen in love with the Haas brushes. We have a soft face brush she will rub her face against on her own, and she adores the medium horsehair brushes (Amazone is its name I think).
