Expecting a baby VERY soon~!

**long but worth it!!! **

Hey everyone! Listen up!!

This is Sheba- she is only 3 years old and is pregnant. We were keeping her temporarily at a friends house. Long story short- the neighbor's bay TB stallion jumped the fence and bred her. We weren't even sure if she was mature enough to go into heat. Well we assumed she wasn't bred or pregnant b/c nobody actually saw it happen and had no idea how long he was in our pasture before they came and got him out.

So! 10 months later we finally have her home and notice a big ol BELLY! We soon rushed her to the vet to be palpated and the vet did confirm that she is pregnant. We calculated the months and she is now in her 10th month.
She has started to bag up and her rump is getting nice and "jello-ish".

I'll keep you guys updated on the baby status. We have no idea what color she will throw. She was born a chesnut, and is now a palomino appy! We are hoping for a nice strong baby and an uncomplicated birth. *fingers crossed*

some palomino's are born that odd colour and they look to be chestnut, but she is defiantly a palomino. She's likely to have a chestnut, bay, buckskin or palomino foal. Good Luck

Good luck - she is a super cutie! I just love her face And that blue halter is just stunning on her.

We got a 2 year old this spring that dropped a surprise foal on the ground 3 weeks after we got her!! The owner had no idea It was to our benefit though, because now we have Velvey too!

good luck and I can't wait to see pics - ooo I just love those babies!

Is she a registered appy? If so the baby will be registrable if the daddy is registered.

Would love to see more pics of her and the daddy.

Exclamation *photo Dump*

I hate to say it now, as much as we hate the fact that the Daddy is who he is, we regretfully dont have pictures of him.

I doubt he was registered. Sheba is a mutt herself. Her father was a crypt orchid. We got lucky with her- as I think she turned out pretty nicely !
Here are more pictures. You can compare belly shots!

Her spotted Hiney!

Here's a similar picture of the foal's father. He was a bay TB.
