EW! Gross filly

OK, so we all know the sheath cleaning nightmare. (well most of us)
So how many have a dirty mare or filly? I was rubbing my hands on Lillys belly the other day, ran my hand back south and gross!
So Im going out today to clean up her litte teet area, where she seems to be saving left over dirt and yuck.
Ive not had many mare like this, actually Ive had 2 Pheobe, and Lilly.. Gallant was never dirt, nor was Bonnie..
I plan to use mineral oil, but I considered excaliber. What do you all suggest.

I used to clean my mare out with nothing but my hands. It was quite oily back in between her teets anyway and the dirt just used to flake off.

I just peel it off with my fingers and then apply some bag balm to soothe it. My horse would stand there all day. She loves getting it peeled off.

Oh, Catnip gets so disgusting between her teats! I can literally peel off chunks of the stuff, and she hikes a leg to give me better access LOL

Blech! My sisters old mare Foxy was like that, thankfully both of mine now aren't bad.

Misty is very tolerant. I just use my hand once in a while and occasionally a spray bottle fulll of water too

Mine used to get that glazed-over "cow being milked" look in her eye. It was while cleaning between her teats that I discovered that she had milk in there. That's when I checked the stud book and lo and behold, my mare was a mommy! It explained a lot of her strange behaviour.

Pheobe used to about fall down when I cleaned her, she would bend her back down so I could get it.. lol
Lilly is only 10 or so months (approx) So I know she isnt in foal.. And I didnt get to do it today, as we instead had to have a talk about the horse eating fly spray monster..

Ewwww...it is so gross. I play with all my girls, since they are going to be mommies in the spring. Some are worse than others, but I pick out chunks with my fingers, and use excalibur when I give them baths. Guess I won't be eating that midnite snack now, I'm no longer hungry.
