Everythig I expected and much more!! Cher is home...

Cher came home Saturday!! I bought her several months ago but she stayed up at the breeders until my colt was weaned. He is staying there for a while being fitted to show in August.

She is everything I was hoping for and more. Not only is she trained to the hilt, a reserve nat champion and beautiful but..........and the most important.........

She is WONDERFUL with my daughter (who is 5)!!! She can go in to her stall and clean it, groom her, love on her and she just stands there patiently. She is the same way under saddle with her...total babysitter!

For a mother, horses like this are worth their weight in gold!! I get to show her for a year and my daughter will do leadline on her one more year and then she will be her walk/trot horse! She is AWESOME!!

I don't have any pics of her since she arrived home but her are some older ones.

She's a beautiful mare! Sounds like a fantastic horse, those babysitters are just priceless.

Yup, that is Ely... he is a bit deperssed right now that his mama is gone but he is coming around.

They're both gorgeous! In APHc do the solids show in the same classes with the patterned horses and do the judges consider them the same as the patterned horses or do they penalize them? Good news that she is exceeding your expectations. You're right about how much a really good babysitter is worth. No telling how far your daughter can go on her.

In ApHC solids can show just like characteristic horses however if they don't have regular papers you have to purchase a performance permit (now) used to be the CPO program. The only class it wouldn't do much good to show them in is color, lol!

Lots of times breeders and trainers want solid horses over color. I love the color but she was just too good to pass on just becuase she is solid

. She is stunning!! Your gonna have so much fun showing her, and then your gonna get THE most boooooootiful babies out of her!! Congrats!!
